THE STORY

In a world where rock music is slowly going the way of the caribou, one website sets out on one mission, to stand alone high atop a mountain of rock.  May The Rock Be With You, launched in March 2009 in preparation for the rock epiphany of the new decade!

May the rock be with you......featuring the best things you have and haven't heard in the world of hard, glam, melodic and modern ROCK!

WHO?

Having lived and breathed music for many years, we have turned our passion into a concept that will be a winner, one which many have told us already is!  Some of you may have previously known us as milftonrock.com, but sick of people arriving at our site disappointed by the lack of porn, we have re-branded ourselves with a name a bit more obvious and what we feel is inspirational in a time of need!

WHY?

Frustrated by what we consider a lack of “genre-less” music webzines that promote new music and interview bands that never get interviewed, we thought it was time to do something about it.  We know you are out there scattered the world over…artists, record labels, artist management companies and fans, all victims of industry gatekeepers asleep on the job and people being brainwashed by what is considered hip today or governed by what others may portray as being uncool.  May The Rock Be With You is here to fill that gap, a vehicle to promote your music and a place where music lovers can come to find the best thing they’ve never heard or read. 

WHAT?

The only thing we limit ourselves to is ROCK!  Hard rock, glam rock, power pop, metal, country rock, alternative rock, melodic rock, AOR, stadium rock, retro rock, whatever it’s called, we don’t really care, it’s all ROCK to us and it’s all welcome in our world.

Through www.maytherockbewithyou.com we will do the following: conduct interviews with some of rocks biggest names and some you’ve never heard of, showcase some of the hottest new music from around the world as well as some rock you may have missed years ago, write CD/DVD/GIG reviews that actually talk about the music, display photo’s from our up and coming rock photographers and have a competition thrown in every now and again!

HOW?

How can we help you?  By hopefully already having checked out our website or being inspired by our message, we hope you have seen an opportunity in May The Rock Be With You helping to promote your music.

How can you help us? The more bands, management companies, record labels or tour promoters that join the force and give us opportunities to interview artists, review CD’s and concerts take photo’s at gigs, offer prizes for competitions, the more exposure we all get by helping out each other.  We are here simply out of a love for music and the buzz we get from spreading the word about the music we believe in!

We would be very happy to hear from you and talk further about the ways in which we could work or should we say rock together.
